Murphy always up for a run around.
I sneakily suspect Murphy isn't at all bothered in the slightest, when we have to occasionally call upon the services of Jeeves & Woofster ‘in loco parentis’, so to speak.
To Murphy, a day with J&W is the doggie equivalent of a kid’s PGL adventure day out, the adult corporate ‘jolly’; offering a fun-packed day of thrills and excitement. Murphy gets to explore afar, socialise and chill with other like-minded cool & hippy hounds and discuss & debate topical questions, pondering for example why women & cats will do as they please - so men & dogs should relax and get used to the idea(!) and whether poodles are members of a weird religious cult?
Doggy 'ice-cream' to cool us down
After an action-packed day, Murphy always returns home happy and exhausted. That said, we have an adventurous, energetic, inquisitive black Labrador and Sonia knows how to brilliantly amuse, entertain and stimulate our canine companion and tailors her offering depending on time available, the great British weather and client need.
As owners we are also grateful for the regular status updates purporting to come from Murphy, (but I'm certain he’ll have delegated this to Sonia - No?). These texts, Facebook posts and photo evidence of our boy and his pals out on manoeuvres in the woods, fields, streams and tow-paths of Oxfordshire reinforce what a great day Murphy has with Sonia.
We were fortunate to meet Sonia before she started her business Jeeves & Woofster, so, for us, the transition to willing clients was easy. Sonia is more than professional, qualified and caring in looking after her charges – it’s an oft used phrase, but certainly apt that Sonia definitely goes the extra mile (and given Murphy would walk that & more given the chance; that’s both metaphorical and physical!) I’d like to think we've not so much found a fantastic dog walker, but a great friend. We trust Sonia unreservedly with Murphy (and our house keys!) and implicitly know Murphy couldn't be in better hands for either the planned occasion or the emergency request.
The downsides of a day with Jeeves & Woofster? Well, Sonia sets a high bar, so be prepared for some canine dissatisfaction if you don’t sharpen your act to provide an equivalent to the ‘Jeeves & Woofster Experience’. Either that, or admit defeat and simply re-enlist Sonia’s services of course!
